Kungsholmen (Stockholm, Sweden)

This is the Crème brûlée that started it all, currently top of the crembulator (which may or may not be published annually in leather-bound format).  Thick crispy caramel topping with enough of a burnt flavour to be brûlée, not blasé.  Generous serving, but not too generous to enjoy after a large plate of sushi, two old-fashioneds and a capuccino (then again, we may be biased, as it is possible none of these would have deterred us).  Dense custardy cream,  rich vanilla flavouring without being too sweet.  


Verdict: Highly recommended.  Do not under any circumstances be tempted to order the tiramisu instead.
